What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? OH
I currently have a CPO against my ex. Per the CPO, we were arranging visitation through a relative that can no longer do it.
Other relatives of his have called and have urged me to change the Civil Protection Order so that we can discuss and arrange children visitation via phone, email and text.

I also was passed on a note, along with a motion to modifiy the Civil Protection Order from one of his relatives. The note was written to his "mom", but clearly meant for me. It stated that if he had to file, it would be to dismiss the civil protection order.

Can a respondent petition to dismiss an order after 3 months?
