What is the name of your state? Iowa
My mother had a business that she sold on contract to a woman in Indiana. My mom just passed away and the woman called to say she can't make the monthly payment, that was 3 months ago. She still ows lots of money. She also stated that she may have to claim bankruptcy. She claimed on other stuff a few years ago. I don't know what to do.....

Take the contract mom signed with this woman to a local attorney for review. The contract and it's revenue are now assets of the Estate.
