we have a picknick table that has been in the apartments common area for over the year that i have lived here. this table has been danced on, jumped off and other things by all the kids that live in the apartment complex. my son and 2 other boys were playing around this table and it broke when my son jumped on the area where people sit. It broke on of the legs off. The manager wants us to pay $80 to replace the leg that was already loose and was old. All that needs to be done is the leg nailed back on. Can they charge us for this? I feel they are trying to make a point with this action to all the other kids and families that live in the apartment complex. If we don't pay we will be evicted. We live in Oregon Thank You.
