What is the name of your state? PA

Good evening, according to my lease it states, "The term is for 1yr July 2006 to July 2007... This lease will renew unless the landlord or the tenant gives 30 days written notice before the ending date of this lease... The landlord or the tenant must give 30 days written notice to end a month to month lease... The length of each renewal term of this lease is 1yr..."
Is my lease now month to month?
It appears to be month to month because of some of the wording, particularly the date section. I assumed after the 1st year, the lease automatically becomes month to month. I want to move out, but haven't found a place as of yet.
I phoned & left my landlord a message regarding this matter this morning, but haven't heard from him.

The lease is a little confusing.... HOWEVER, the following are pretty clear:
"This lease will renew unless the landlord or the tenant gives 30 days written notice before the ending date of this lease. The length of each renewal term of this lease is 1yr..."

Security

Good afternoon, I don't know if I should start a new thread but my question is related to my current lease. When I moved to my current place in 2004, the rent was $500/mo. I only had to give 1 month + security = $1000. My lease is up in July and my landlord won't agree to a month to month lease. I want to know, do I get my security back? If so, do I get all of it or a portion of it? Thanks in advance.
