More Then a relationship

since i've been on here two times already i might as well put it all out there. I was in a deceiving relationship, where my ex and the girl that he was cheating on me with ploted aginst me.

We communicated by e-mail, AOL IMs, and phone.

I have e-mails stateing that he would pay me back for monies that i had spent. i have letters saying that he cheated, lied, plotted. I have letters and conversations that say that he was useing me and that money that i was sapposedly paying a studio (for recording) was going into his pocket.

Aside from the over $6,500 spent by me on that end. He also copywrote my songs, and trademarked my real birth-given name. But that would have nothing to do with this particular suit because that would have to go to federal court.

Any agreements or understandings that we had we're made through e-mails, Ims and verbal conversations via phone. This is why i wouldn't know where the agreements were entered in at (which state), because he was in Ny at the time and I in CA.

This is a complicated situation.

Since you have presented allegations of facts demonstrating "diversity of citizenship" (both of you live in different States) and a Federal question (the copyright issue), you can file all of your "Causes of Action" that you have mentioned in Federal Court, in the Ninth Circuit, because part or all of the dealings you had, started in or were conducted in, California.
