I took a second mortage out on my property, at the same time I took involuntary unemployment and life insurance also. I then became unemployed, after a hassle they began to pay my monthly bill but stopped, my contract can last for 60 months of payments. My main question is during the time I negotiated this contract I was being treated for manic depression and I had just been released from a mental health hospital. What are my rights, can I be legally responsible for this loan. I am currently going through bankrupcty. I live in the State of Maryland. I am not currently employed and they are threatening foreclosure. They have me to the point were I would like to hide in a hospital forever. Can you please give me some advice. I currently see a shrink and a therapist and require medication to keep me balanced.
