What is the name of your state?Tx

My husband placed a loan for a mobile home for a friend of ours with the condition that she would change the loan under her name a year later. When she tried to do that lender wouldn't go for it because she didn't have enough credit. It's been about six years and we would like to be removed from that loan. Is there anything we can do?

Not really. Unless she can re-finance with a new loan in her own name, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. Did you by any chance secure the loan with a lien against the property ?

**A: I hope he is on title to the property. Then he can sell it.
