i live in claremont nc on may 7 2001 the house we were living in burned down. it was my husbands parents home but they did not live there. the playhouse was left on the property with their permission until we got our new residence and had a place to put it. recently my mother in law gave it to a friend of hers she did not contact us or give us any notification that she wanted it moved. my husband built the playhouse for my daughters birthday. it was worth around 1500.00. we tried to contact her to get it back but she will not respond. what can we do?

we did but he said he would not move it because she asked him not to and he was not getting in the middle of our problems. he has been told that we would go to court if it came down to that and he said it was on her land it was her decision not ours. i tried to get him to understand that this was very hard on my kids but he doesn't seem to care.
