My mother-in-law has a whole life insurance policy on my wife, with herself as the beneficiary. It has been in place since she was born (1981 - 24 years), and we have just had a child, hit soem hard times, and are having trouble getting a second mortgage. (I also know that if anything happened to my wife she would take the money and use it to try to take my daughter)

Is there anything out there that I can do, since she is now 24 years old to switch beneficiaries/cash out the policy?

An employer can have a policy on an employee.

Why do you think there are so many elderly employees at Wal-Mart.

You need to mend fences with you WIFE'S MOTHER!
