Right now I only have evey other saturday from 10 am to 3 pm with my son. I went nearly 2 years without seeing him at all because my ex would not contact me, i had no way of contacting her, and she kept denying every recommendation the court mediator made, didnt show up for court ordered visits, etc. Finaly after months and months of mediation not working, we went before a judge and he gave me supervised, in attempts to reunite father and son without it being traumatic for my son. so every other saturday is the second step to the "phasing in" period. if all goes well, we will begin the real court order parenting time which is standard, eowe, one night a week, every other holiday and two weeks in the summer.
During this time, my ex has been very dificult to communicate with. She is constantly sending threatening and harrassing text messages. she says horrible things about my wife, my step kids, and even my newborn daughter.
so i signed up for a google voice account. it gives me a phone number to give out to people, and when they call or text it, all communication is forwarded to my actual cell phone. my ex is the only one i gave this google voice number to. all of her "crazy" texts are now documented.
so last saturday she was being unusually nice. and pretty much stated that she wants to quit the judge and figure things out ourselves. this would not be very smart on my end. i NEED a COURT ORDER or she will not abide by it. so i told her we can draw up our own plan and present it to the judge as something we agree on. she says ok. she told me to write up a plan and she will look at it and add or subtract to it.
the plan i wrote up was nearly identical to the one our county doles out as standard (stated above). She disagrees. She saysi can have every other weekend, and tuesday and thursday evenings on the weeks i dont get weekends, but no on the two weeks in the summer, no birthdays, no christmas, no 4th of july, and no halloween. she says this is fair because "he came outta me".
so i told her nevermind, we will continue to go through the court and take what the judge gives us.
she flipped out and sent some more threatening messages. claiming to tell the judge im a woman beater and that she has witnesses.. *eyeroll* she wants to tell the judge that my wife and i have had child protective services called on us a lot. (completely false) etc. i figure it will only make her look bad. i have text messages of her saying shes willing to give me everyother weekend and what not. if she thought i was a danger to my son, why she be offering me that much, right?
anyways, a few nights ago i got a text on my google voice number (remember shes the only one who has it) from a number i didnt recognize or have saved as a contact. she claims she is a girl i met at 7-11. i knew immediately it was my ex. and maybe i should have took the high road and ignored her. but i didnt. i played into. my wife was right there by my side, reading every message between us.
this girl, she begged me for a picture of my "junk" for two hours and when i kept refusing she admitted it was her (my ex). she says that she is going to show these messages to my wife if i dont take her up on her offer. i said no still, ofcourse. then she offers to have sex with me if i take it. when i tell her that she is crazy she thinks its funny. i asked her if she is trying to blackmail me. she said "no just trying to ruin your life"
what should i do with these message? what would the judge say/think? i know it doesnt shine a good light on me, but what can be worse than her offering me sex?
