I also found out my mother took out a credit card in my name without my knowing. I had the card cancelled and she said she would pay it. I later foud out she had the card reactivated. What should I do. Does this help my previous posts situation.

Write the CC company and inform them that you have never taken out a card with them, that your mother has taken a card in your name without your knowledge or permission, that they knew this when they reactivated the card, and that if they do not immediately cancel the card & file an acknowledgment on your credit report that you were the victim of identity theft, you will file criminal charges against them as her accessories & sue them for willfully and wantonly damaging your credit rating. Include a copy of the criminal complaint you're going to file against mom after work today. Time for some tough love against mom!
