What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Washington
I took my ex to court for Contempt since he was over a year behind in his court ordered child support. Bottom line, the court agreed with me and found him guilty and ordered him to do a number of things (along with paying something towards his support). None of which I am aware of he has done. He then hired an attorney and requested a Motion for Reconsideration which was reviewed by the same Comissioner and again denied. Now they have requested a Motion for Revision. I don't have an attorney and am not sure what a Motion for Revision is and what I should be aware of? This began in June he now owes even more back child support, can I bring this up? The first time my Contempt Motion was heard by a Comissioner, this time we are in front of a Judge. I need some advice on how I proceed with this. Finally I understand that there is a maximum of 10 days between the time when the Reconsideration denial was handed down and his filing for the Motion for Revision. The dates on the papers I received from the attorney makes it 11 days, does this really make a difference? Thanks for the help and advice.
