What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey

Hi. I'm researching what form I need to file for a motion to waive spousal lawyer’s fees for divorce in NJ. As I cannot afford to pay them. Any input I would GREATLY appreciate...Thanks so much. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

If you have been court ordered to pay lawyer's fees, you have to pay the fees. You cannot "waive" your responsibility to do so.

I am thinking that you are not explaining yourself well. If you are new to all of this - I encourage you to access the following -

Local Courthouse Addresses

From this URL, select your county, select self help. Read, download, read again! Knowledge is your best friend.

Some county omnsbudsman also have wonderful lectures and classes that you can attend (for free) to help you get through completing paperwork, providing instructions for forms, requirements, etc. Check the online site for your county family courthouse to see if it is offered. Mine doesn't, but I have found that Monmouth County's omnbudsman is quite gracious in allowing other county's residents to attend.

Good luck to you.
