Where could I see a sample Motion for Summary Judgment? I live in Missouri. I know what needs to be included in a summary judgment from looking at the Missouri Court Rules, but I would like to see an actual example as to exact mechanical form.
Go to the courthouse, and sit in on a Law and Motion session. Wait for a Summary Judgment Motion to be heard. Make sure you catch the name of the case and the case number (ask the court clerk, also). Then, when you do, wait for the hearing to end, and wait for the file to be returned to the MAIN FILING CLERK - NOT THE COURTROOM CLERK. Then, have that file "pulled" for you. You'll see the motion and all the required other papers necessary for the motion, along with the Opposing papers. Ask the main filing clerk to make you a copy of both.
