If you have a warrant through the probation dept. for violation of probation and you go to NYS motor vehicles to get a non-drivers ID for identification purposes, does your warrant show up on thier computers? Or does it only show up on the computer of a law enforcement official or government official? The warrant was issued because she did not continue the mandatory DWI classes. She wants to complete her conditions of probation soon but in the mean time need ID in order to cash checks. When she can do this she can then resume the classes which she needs to pay for. Can't pay for something with no money! Please help with the current NYS laws on this.

I can't believe you're asking this... correct me if I'm wrong but by the time they issue the warrant out on your friend, isn't that a little too late?
anyways you're a good friend of hers, why not lend her the cash and allow her to straighten out her life
