What is the name of your state? Iowa

I sold a 66 Harley Davidson on EBay in October of 2006. The winning bidder sent the payment in for the bike and the title was sent to him. The problem came when buyer never showed up to take ownership of the bike. The Bike was put in to a storage unit when it was placed on EBay for the reasoning that it would make life simpler to have the new buyer pick the item up there. Lots of travel means I never know for sure when I will be in town. After a year I final start hearing for this guy again. Telling me he is ready to pick the bike up now. I told him that the bike has been in storage this whole time and would like to be reimbursed for that money. He didn’t want to spend that money, but agreed to me buying the bike back minus the storage fee. He received the check yesterday, and sent a email today stating that he thinks I should have only been deducted for 11 months not 12 months. His reasoning was that because I was initially going to end up paying that amount if he had picked up the bike. What are my options? the amount is only 95.00 different, but he had agreed to the amount before the check was sent out.

Just send the $95 and get this guy out of your hair. Or don't, and then have this guy in your hair for who knows how long.

You’re right legally I would think that I had a contract with the guy but for 95.00 not worth this guy bugging me. Maybe I will send an e-mail back stating that we had a legal contract before the check was sent and see if I get anywhere.
