Hello,

I have a question i do not know the answer for and maybe someone could please help me.My wife and I signed a lease to move into a place June 1st. For repairs being done to the rental unit we were unable to move in on June 1st and the repairs still are not finished to this day. We moved into the unit about the end of June (got sick of living out of a suitcase) and they have been working around us.We want to break our lease because honestly this has become a big inconveince to my family. How should i go about doing this? Are they going to be penalities for early termination? Any possible way to get some rent back or were we obligated to pay any rent during the time of repairs? Thanks in advance for any help.
