I live in Ca. I recently moved out of an apt
The rental agent did a walkthrough with me. Everything according to the signout sheet was ok except blinds were dusty. Now the landlord wants has charged for cleaning the blinds and for pet odour. there was absolutely no mention of pet odour in the walkthrough. What are my rights? Can I be charged for these things?

Landlord is not limited to what they notice during the walk through. Some defects can't be seen without a thorough inspection. Pet odor may not be noticable when the windows are open, but show up when they're closed and the AC's on. However, landlord has to send your refund/statement of deductions within 21 days of your move-out or L can't retain any of the deposit.
