Ok, I got a new place signed the papers and called to give my notice to my LL on the apartment. I was told that because I didn't give 30 days notice I would not get my deposit back. I looked over the lease agreement and NOWHERE in there does it state that I have to give 30 days notice. I didn't sign any papers stating to this fact and I wasn't informed of this in any way until I called them to let them know I was moving. When I did sign the lease I was given copies of everything I signed and in none of them does it state that I needed to give a 30 day notice. I agree that there may be an Oklahoma state law that states that all tenants must give a 30 day notice before vacating the property, but shouldn't they at least put it on the lease?
