Hello, our dissolution will be signed off on Nov 9 by the judge.

Wife wants to get her items from the my house (will remain mine) on the day after Thanksgiving....this is not a good day for me as I will be out of town.
I believe I have a right to ask her to come and get her items on another date - is this correct? How does this work?

Also, I suspect one of her helpers will be her Mom...who I do not want in my house because of prior problems that she stirs up while visiting. Can I restrict those who come to help her move?

One last question, if she begins taking things that arent addressed in the property settlement agreement, how do I prevent this other than by just saying "no" and calling the police?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Too easy. Pack up everything that belongs to her according to the property settlement and deliver it before you go out of town. No worries, no arguments or hassles about when she can come, who can come with her, etc. No drama. Unless that's what you're looking for.

That's a very good solution. However, please don't keep anything that would be considered to be her "personal" property, just because it may not be listed on the property settlement.
