What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Minnesota

I presently live and collect unemployment benefits in Minnesota. My husband is in the military and we will be moving to New Mexico soon. I realize I continue to collect payments from Minnesota but for extension purposes since Minnesotas unemployment rate is less than New Mexicos that could affect whether or not an extension is passed.

Do they go by the unemployment rate of where Im living or where Im collecting from to determine whether or not I qualify for an extension assuming I still have not found a job and received no income from New Mexico?
