This isnt so much about suing or anything, i was just curious to know if its possible to download say mp3's or other such music formats legally? I was watching TV and saw a certain artist performing live on cd usa and watned to check out her cd/songs without buying the cd/songs first without hearing them. How does this work? Is it illegal? Frowned upon?..i mean, its just a song or two, and from there i will decide if i'll buy the cd or not.

go to amazon.com and look up their album. For many albums, you will be able to hear the first 30 seconds of many of the tracks. Likewise, you may find similar downloads on the artist's web site.

Don't expect to find the full song for free anywhere unless its illegally shared.

Ok...i didnt want to make another thread, so i'll ask my question here. I really like this show, CD USA. Now, i want to know if it would be legal to record some of the music performances on the show to my computer. I mean, im paying for the service and im not sharing them with anyone, so is it legal?
