Multiple gun charges and drug possesion

I had a good friend arrested last nite and I need some legal advice of the following charges. Please if you could include maximum sentencing and reality.

Reality: Your friend needs a good attorney immediately. Your friend should speak to NO ONE, including you, about this matter without his attorney present.

He's in jail till his court date which it next week. And he most likely won't be able to afford an attorney.

Your friend was carrying a gun while carrying weed for sale.

That doesn't mean he is a dealer, that may just be a legal presumption.

Your friend is looking at serious jail time.

If convicted he will go to prison for at least some time.

He is looking at no less than 1-3 years in prison. Plus probation.
