California. Where can I find the California Law pertaining to multiple lodgers in a private residence? I have a 3-bedroom condo and am considering renting out two rooms to separate individuals (I would be living in the third room). I was able to find the code that pertains to single lodgers but unable find anything regarding more than one lodger. Specifically, I would like to understand what type (if any) of rent control would be applicable and what the requirements are in terms of giving the lodgers notice to move.

Thanks. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

There is only state code for single lodgers or all other residential tenants. As far as rent control, you would have to check with YOUR local rent/eviction control board for that...they are all different.
