my bankruptcy and my ex husband

i live in oregon. my bankruptcy was final 9 months after my divorce was final. my ex was uncooperative in providing the information needed to file together which led me to file independantly. my ex is now demanding that i give him any information regarding my bankruptcy because he has said "the divorce papers say that I am entitled to any financial information that affects me... your bankruptcy has affected me, my personal finances and my credit." what does my bankruptcy have to do with his credit? i am not still responsible for his credit problems, am i? the dissolution papers state that we are to provide financial documents that may from time to time be necessary (i.e. joint tax returns, etc). my ex has been told that my bankruptcy is public record and he can obtain this info. for himself.

First of all, is he right? Does the divorce decree make that statement? If it does, I'd say he's within his rights. Bankruptcy is a public record. Tell him to instruct his lawyer to get your bk file from the Federal Courthouse.
