My family and i are permanent residents of the U.S. but about seven months ago my brother got pulled over in oklahoma with a friend of his and got busted with a little bit of marijuana and some residue of crystal meth. well they both got locked up and his friend went to boot camp and did his time there and now is out free. well my brother for not being a U.S citizen did 6 months in jail and to top it of he got deported to mexico. so my question to anyone is, IS THERE ANYTHING I COULD TO OR TALK TO, TO SEE IF HE WILL BE ABLE TO GET BACK IN THE U.S. IT WAS ALSO HIS FIRST OFFENSE.
IF YOU HAVE SOME ADVISE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANK YOU.

Sorry about your brother. My brother and two friends traveling from California to St. Louis, was arrested three weeks ago for drug trafficking. My brother is now in a detention center awaiting for his trial. My brother is a green card holder and I am very worry that the INS will deport him back to Vietnam after his sentencing. I suggest that you seek advice from an immigration lawyer to see what else in the immigration law that will give your brother another chance. I don't think the INS will let him back into the states. I am hoping that hiring an attorney will help persuade the judge to give my brother another chance. My brother grew up in this country and all his family lived in the states, maybe the judge may feel sympathetic.
