Ok, let me narrate the whole story of what happened. I was about to make a right turn, there was another car infront of me too. And the jeep which hit me was behind me. A big bus was about to make a right turn from the other street onto the street where I was. But the bus couldn't make the turn because of the car infront was too close. So the car infront of me backed up a little bit to let the bus complete the turn but it was still not enough. Then I also backed up slowly and gradually constantly checking my back up camera. I stopped when I saw there was no more room left. Then, in my mirror, I pointed at the guy behind me to backup a little bit. But, this guy was crazy, on drugs or drunk, God knows what was in his mind. He pushed the gas and hit me like crazy. My little car has been badly damaged from behind. I immediately got out of my car, absolutely astonished, and my first reaction was taking a picture of his plate and telling him that, listen man, you hit me deliberately, what's your problem???? The other car which was parked and was trying to pull out also saw us, and I asked him too that he hit me, he also said yes. So stupid of mine that I didn't ask him for his phone number so that he could be a witness. I called 911, and they told me that Police can't help, and I am just supposed to exchange information with other driver. And So I exchanged information with him. I immediately took pictures of my and his car, and his license and insurance card. And look how shameless that driver was, he tells me that I backed up and hit me. Come on, my car is ruined, backing up cannot cause that damage. His car was just scratched. It was the sheer force by which he hit my little car that caused me damage. I know he hit me, he hit me so hard. He was a nasty looking person, God knows he was on drugs or something. I called my insurance company after that and told them the whole story. I don't have collision insurance, I just have liability. Now I am at the mercy of that guy's insurance company to pay me for the damages after he is at fault. My poor car is damaged badly. It is my first ever accident. I did not know how to handle it properly as I was extremely astonished at that crazy guy. And now I checked his insurance card, and it is valid upto June 2016, which means it is expired. What should I do? Please guide me.
Thank you so much!!!

It means he showed you last years card.
Call the number on the card and verify that it is valid.

Probably 90% of that post is totally unnecessary and just makes it difficult to wade through to find out what the actual details are.

Did you file a claim with the other driver's insurance? If not, what are you waiting for? You'll find out then whether he has coverage.

Yes, I called his insurance company and looks like he does have insurance. Now I don't know how to prove that he hit me. He was blaming me that I backed up. I backed up, and then stopped, and then asked him to backup. He simply got pissed and hit me. I don't know if he was on weed or something. A slight backup does not cause that damage by the way. And, I DID NOT BACK UP. I DID NOT MOVE AT ALL. Terrible experience. His Jeep was fine, and my poor car is in ruins.

Stop already with that. You have no real evidence that is the case. Why didn't you tell the 911 dispatcher about this if you were so certain?

A slight backup does not cause that damage by the way.

It's your word against his. File a claim and see what happens. It would have helped if you had gotten the information for that witness.
