What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA

Okay...i left my broken down vehicle at my old house, and now i need it at my new house. I called magistrate, they said basically that no abandonment papers had been filed, and no eviction was filed at the residence.
They said they couldn't offer legal advice on whether I could legally go and get my vehicle, so I've come to this site to know.

Can I go pick it up?

Why don't you tell the WHOLE story?

Well basically, I bought the car at 17, living with my parents. Their landlord and my parents left on bad terms. He has "banned" them from his property, but never said anything about me coming down. I want to get my vehicle back, and I called magistrate to check and make sure the landlord hadn't filed an eviction, any type of restraint to keep me off the property, or a vehicle abandonment paper, and they said everything was nonreactive. So now I want to make sure that there isn't anything keeping me from just picking up MY vehicle, and leaving.

I have no idea what would make you think that you can't. Unless it's behind a locked gate or something, get it picked up. I'm sure the former landlord will be thrilled to have the junker out of his sight.
