i hope everything goes smooth. I know they hate to pay. I wonder how long after a agreement is met does it take to receive payment. I know it has to be approved by the courts first.

Are there specific questions I should be asking?
I know this is before a judge so I assume he/she will ask lot of questions.
I am kind of nervious about this. Seeing how this is my first. I have no idea how the judge will act. Hope it's nothing like on tv

Settlement conferences normally are not held by a judge (although that is certainly possible).

The first thing I would ask is how much they want to settle for.
