The age of consent and the age of majority are two entirely different things dear...

If you don't know the difference, then don't refute what someone is telling you. If you already knew the answer, you wouldn't be here asking the question.

The answer you received, however, is 100% correct. Regardless of what the age of consent may be, the age of majority is 18. Therefore, until your girlfriend is 18, her parents may ENTIRELY LEGALLY refuse to allow her to see you. It is ENTIRELY their decision who she may see and who she may not.

Just because it isn't the answer you want to hear doesn't mean it is wrong.
