Not on the premises. I believe my dog is with her daughter at her father's house. I have no idea who he is though.
I'm soooooooooooooooo confused!

This may be another thread for IAAL's list.

Sorry. Just read what I wrote.

I believe that my neighbor has taken my dog out of the area. I have reason to believe that my dog was taken to my neighbor's daughter's father's house. I have no idea who he is though. I've never seen him.

My response:

If you don't have evidence of ownership, and no evidence of the theft, then what would you like a bunch of people on the Internet to tell you?

You can hold your neighbor hostage and torture her until she confesses to the theft. And, if she's good-looking, you can marry her, buy another dog, then get divorced, and come back here for advice on Doggy Visitation.

I mean, c'mon - - what the hell are we supposed to say?

Thanks for the suggestion! If I happen to lapse into post traumatic dog loss syndrome and go nuts I'll have you to thank for the torture idea. But until that day comes I'll simply ask my question more specifically. Is there any legal action I can take against my neighbor in order to assist in the effort of getting my dog back.

...And for the question, please assume that my name is branded on my dogs belly.

My response:

You do much better on the Real Estate forums as a contributor. Have a nice evening.

Just why do you suspect that your neighbor took your dog?? How about dishing out all the dirt here !!!

If you have a convincing enough story to tell us here, maybe your local cop may believe you enough to at least knock on your neighbor's door. But first, try it out with us while you still have our attention...
