I won a Small Claims case against the a County government in California for chronic botching of my property taxes and unjustly damaging my credit rating. The County has have appealed to Superior Court.
May I increase the damages sought on their appeal?
Will I be able to present my case without an attorney?
Are they allowed to raise issues that they could have raised at the original hearing?
Are they limited in what they can introduce on appeal?
Am I entitled to know the basis of their appeal before the hearing?
Please respond to: [email protected]
Thanks,
Chris
