What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca
I worked for a Real estate broker that handles the disposition of REO/Bank Owned assets by many bank as well as federal Institutions. The broker, created gmail and yahoo accounts in my name ( i have a very unique name) and the broker and office workers corresponded with the banks, law firms, federal agencies as if it we me, without my knowledge. I was inadvertently copied on an email and i discovered this. The broker did it with several of the agents in the office in an attempt to receive more listings. Which was done successfully however these listings were not given to us. Some of the problems I see are
1. first and foremost identity theft.
2. Loss of income through fraud
3.I have no idea what good things or bad things were said about me to these agencies and banks. I have not been able to list assets for them since.
4. This broker makes A LOT of money by doing this.
5. It seems to be against all rules and bylaws of the governing boards of real estate brokers.
6. It looks like i have two choices, report her to the authorities and not receive any damages or send her a demand asking for damages.
Are there any Real estate litigation attorney that can weigh in on this and would consider this case on a contingency basis? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

There's a button on the site that you can click on to locate an attorney.

It's considered unethical for an attorney to go through the forums looking for possible clients.
