What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona
My mother and father are still living. They both have alzhiemers. My sister has power of attorney because she lives in AZ. and my brother and I live in CA. and KY. I would like to know if we have any rights as far as being kept informed as to their health and finances? She will not willing give us any information. She recently moved them from their home with care givers into a nursing home and did not inform us of the move. We knew that this was eventually going to happen but is her lack of forthcoming information. We would like to know if she is obligated as the executor and having control of power of attorney to keep us informed.

Legally obligated? Doubt it....not in any POA's that I've been POA for, or the one that I have signed.

On the other hand, however, I inform/consult my siblings anytime any major change(or decision) needs to be made....both medically and financially. Although geographically spread across the country, we've always been a 'close' family.
