lisa's husband has been abusive to her for years.the line was drawn when he cut her neck with siccors. we took pictures but they did not turn out. how does she need to present this in court? they have two children,5 and 1.he does not get the kids like he should. he gave her 400 dollars one month.he has been gone 5. he makes good money he just will not help her in any way. he has told her he is going to quit his job to avoid child support.he told her he was going to do all he can to turn the kids against her. when he has the oldest one(he hardly ever gets the baby), he tells her bad things about her mother, he tells her she does not need lisa. lisa has not said anything bad about him.lisa has tapes of him calling and threatening her (lisa). he has the child begging to live with him she thinks it is lisa's fault. he has her on tape throwing a fit to live with him. do you think this could actually happen? lisa has not fought him in any way. she is only asking for what is allowed by law. she wants him to see his children. he is the one who pops in every now and then.she does not want to keep them from him.she knows he loves his kids.what will she need in court?what is the law about child custody in MS-if ordered by a judge?

If what you described actually happened she should have seeked medical attention and they would have taken pictures. If nothing else there will be scar's.
This is a clear case of abuse and should be hotlined. Do it now, before the next article we read is an obituary!!!!!!!

My advice to you is a couple of things.

First, speak with someone about getting your children a Guardian Ad Litem. GAL's work with the child's best interest at heart. These visits with your ex need to be supervised and the GAL will see to that. The GAL will investigate everything that has been going on and they are very highly respected in courtrooms.

Second, your daughter doesn't understand what's going on with Mom and Dad. She may think that she wants to live with him, but she is still too young to testify with whom she wants to live with. The courts will rule by the best interest of the children.

This man has violent tendencies and this should be exposed.
