My son refuse to communicate with me!

I live in California!
I've started an altercation with the husband during Thanksgiving and now my son, according to the husband that he is sad and is still angry with me! Not texting or answering my calls. When he does, he still feels angry and sad! He's about nine.
How do I talk to him? Every time I get through my son made it short and answers maybe a lot. Maybe he will spend time with me, maybe he wants to talk to me.

Any help will be appreciated!
