My son (age 34) and generally in good health was found dead in his apartment on April 13, 2001. The medical examiner said he was dead from 4-7 days. He was arrested for public intoxication on 4-4-2001 at 10:30 p.m.and released on 4-5-2001 at 7:40 p.m. in Dubuque, Iowa. I have a copy of the police report which states that he was injured (minor they said) but it also said that when he took a cab home he fell getting out and was lying on the ground when the police came. They did not seek medical treatment for him but put him in a wheelchair to put him in a cell. I believe he should have had medical treatment because all evidence points to the fact that he died the next day. Do you think I have a case?

I AM ALWAYS LIABLE

My response:

Please put your post in the "Litigation Law" board. Yours is not a "Family Law" question, even though it involved your son.

I am very sorry for your loss.
