What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

Finaly made a little headway pro per. I wrote a way to long 10 page report to the judge why i thought the ex needed a psychiatric evaluation. After fighting this for 4-5 months or more the judge ordered the MMPI/730 for both of us. [at no charge through the STEP program]

I didnt get the RO stopped and it pissed the judge off my report was to long. the 911 records, the police report and the cps report didnt matter to the judge so I didnt need to understand hearsay.

If i would have spent 5 bucks on a lawyer it would have been waisted, this judge takes the court room by the horns and there is little room for negotiating anything which is fine by me.

They were trying to get 2500 in lawyer fees for having to file a motion to compel for form interrogatories and production of documents. judge questioned me and found out i wasnt trying to hide anything that I just didnt know how to cross the T,s and dot the I,s properly and gave me a chance to get a few more docs for the exs lawyer. The fees got reduced to 1017 and the judge said she will hold off and see what I produce befor she makes judgement on lawyer fees.

all in all im happy with how court went, I didnt get robbed for fees yet and I have done all i can do to make sure both parents will be checked for mentally soundness.
