All items should have been dealt with in the divorce. Please have one of the legally involved parties log on to ask their own questions. They are more likely to have the pertinent information. Thank you.

He left the state never to return. she had to do the short sale alone and she moved his things with her because she new they were things he would want. she has asked him repeatedly to get his things over the last 5 years and he hasn't stating he can't afford it. She has moved his things a total of 5 times now all the while asking him to get them. we just found out he is suing her stating she got rid of his things.

The divorce decree states he is responsible for getting his things. Ho much time has to pass for it to be considered abandonment of his items?

She has tried for 5 years. He keeps saying he can't afford it. At one point he even said get rid of it, I don't need it. And he's even asked what we have. He's got no idea of what he has left. All of this now because she tried to be decent and didn't want to just leave his things 5 years ago.

But he's suing NOW.

Ya know...please have her log on - you're really not helping her since you are bitter towards him over this and you don't have a dog in this fight anyway.

Agreed - please have her create an account and post. It really is preferable to deal with a legally interested party.
