I was simply wondering if someone could sue based on a blog posting on myspace.

yes, of course they can. They can also be sued for NOT posting there, for reading posts there and for never going there.Alexandra813 said:Missouri.

"There's a big problem with our rent this month. They were supposed to take off $200 and they didn't so when we paid them, they gave it back and said we didn't pay the full amount. Well, that's all the money we have. No jobs and all.
Harris and I aren't friends anymore, because I forgot I owed this other guy $17. Yep. Friendship ended over a small amount of money not even owed to him. I had every intention of returning the money it was simply a matter of timing. He wasn't there when I had the money for him a few days after the fact and since then I saw him SEVERAL times and neither one of us remembered. Then he freaked out about it the other night when I went to get my last check. I told him to remind me later because I didn't even have enough money. I wasn't being a bitch about it. I just honestly didn't have the available funds my check didn't even cover rent how was I supposed to give him money? So Harris comes out screaming about how I'm a bitch and a backstabber and stuff and so I went over to an ATM and pulled out the last of my savings to give Michael his money. Later that night Harris, called my phone and bitched me out saying we weren't friends anymore and that was it.
Oh, yeah, I have an interview today, wish me luck"
and of course, that is NOT TRUE. Taking out the real name has absolutely no LEGAL effect on whether or not the poster can be sued for such.Shah said:You might want to take out the name you mention. If you don't mention the 'real' name then NO, I don't believe you can be sued. If there is any truth to the story, I really doubt you can be sued. This person may try, but I doubt it would go anywhere.
