What is the name of your state? NJ
:) Hello:
Eucalyptus, Lana: thank you for your advice earlier this month - I went in to the disstrict office in Newrk and was told that my cond. residence application was approved. I've been married to US citizen for 4 years and have been resident since july 2004, when can I become a US citizen?

You can apply for N-400 2 years 9 months after you have been granted permanent resident status (in your case the conditional - in July 2004). That means you would be eligible to file in April 2007, provided you have satisfied the other requirements for this filing.

What other requirements are there? I heard you have to a person of a good nature, which I am I;ve had 1 traffic ticket - improper passing that's all. Anything else I should be aware of? And how can I make this process as smooth as I can? ;-) Thanks again:)

Well, certainly the good moral character but also you need to make sure you have satisfied the physical presence in the US, etc. You should read the instructions to the form to make sure you are eligible and then it should be fairly smooth.
