What is the name of your state? California

My niece and I are filing a Petition To Determine Succession To Real Property under $100,000 that was my dad's. My dad always used his middle name as his first name and the first initial of his first name as his middle. That is the name on his will.

However, the petition that the executor did is using his first name as his first name and his middle name as his middle name, which is how it is on his birth and death certificates.

My question is, will this cause a problem in court?

Thank you.

It may, or may not. If I were doing the filing I would have said "John Paul Jones, also known as Paul J. Jones, J. Paul Jones and P.J. Jones".
