nasty landlord please help!!!!!

First off we do not have a leese. when we moved in we agreed to do a few things to the trailer. We did do those things plus a few other things.Then we frund out the front door was rotten and now if it opens then it is going fall off.the cheapest one we could find used was $100. We didn't think it was up to us to fix so we don't use it. Then our water turned nasty ugly orange. We can.t wash dishes, or do clothes,or even take a bath much less let my little baby drink or wash in that crap.when we tell our landlord he want even look at these problem all he could say is if I do anything your rents going up .He owns 30 houses in Fl my trailer is the nicest only because we fixed it up enough to live in but it continues to get worse. with the door, the well, not to mention there are places in the floor were I or my child could fall in the floor and brake something can anyone help????????

Check your state law on Landlord/Tenant regulations. I wouldn't pay any rent until he atleast begins work on the place. Put all your request in writing. So when you see the judge, he know you tried every effort to remedy the problem.......

First of all this is what happens when you are poor, you get ripped off......

This is a good lesson for you to learn...

When a landlord has no money to fix anything, and wants the tenat to pay.HE NEEDS the cash to pay for his drinking, drug use, gambling debts or a mistress..

So naturally, he wil fly off the handle when you try and decut stuff off the rent, his mistress is counting on ALL of your rent money..

trust me i lived in south carolina georgia, and florida!

Well the landlord from hell awaked us at 7am on a Saturday morning again.We were ready and we had a letter in hand to describe that we weren't going to pay him rent until he repaired these things. He became irate and he screamed and yelled and said; Well I'm not going to do anything because I sold it and he coming to close on it Tuesday so you have to be out of here then.The BIg guy that was supposably buying it was with him too he threated my husband with physical harm and said: That we have to be out by Tuesday because he's coming to bulldoze the place down. How can they kick us out with NO notice at all? Don't they have to at least give us a 30 day notice? We have a little baby so if you Can help if you can write us please asap
