Is there anything that can be done about how my X speaks to me on the phone? She seems incapable of holding a rational or even sane conversation with me. She screams and curses so loudly that people near me can hear her over the phone. She has even had fits of screaming when I know my daughter is nearby, witnessing her loss of control. We only speak when discussing where to pick up or drop off my daughter. Do I need to get a court order to get her to stop? She doesn't listen to reason.

Also, my wife is concerned about the child support issue. I pay CS on time every month, but my wife worries that when she gets a new job my X may demand more money. We do not mind providing for my child, but we want to start a family together and worry that the demands of CS (not as they are now, but if they increase) may hinder our financial ability to support more children. Can the X demand more based on my wife's income?

Thanks.

your wife's income is not considered for child support- and your could limit your dealings with your ex to email.

I would love to limit our contact to email, but neither of us has ready access to a computer or internet. Thanks for your other information.

one thing that worked for me dealing with my ouut of control ex was every time he started yelling- or getting inappropriate in any way, I hung up- I didn't say anything I just hung up

later when he would call back and ask why I hung up on him I would calmly say I would not tolerate being yelled at....it took a while but now he's as sweet as pie when talking to me
