What is the name of your state?Louisiana

My younger brother was disqualified from Navy basic training for medical reasons. During his stay in "processing," he fought another of the disqualified men. I am not sure what he will be charged with, I assume assault.

I am going on very little information, but what are the possible ramifications of this? Is there anything my parents can do?

Any information is greatly appreciated.

Was he sworn in already? I'm assuming he was. If so, he is potentially looking at a court-martial for assault. However, it may be that he just gets an Article 15.

Your parents should hire a civilian attorney ASAP.
