What is the name of your state? Florida

After a divorce, I was stuck with a number of bills I had been unaware of. I know I should have keep track of my finances(im military so its not that easy). I sent out requests for validation of debt in accordance with FDCPA Section 809 (I do have proof of mailing and included such in my responces to the below mentioned case). One of the two companies that have not responded has started a lawsuit. After the afidavits, interogitories, discoveries, ect and my responces, now given over 70 days ago I have heard nothing from the company or there lawyers. My question is how long do they have to request trial or judgement and If the proper time has elapsed already, what can I do to press this to trial or better yet gain judgement in my favor ?

Thank you in advance

How old is this debt you're being sued for ? When was the last payment to the original creditor ??

I would suggest you call the courthouse where the suit was filed and find out what the status is.
