What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TENNESSEE I WANTED A REFUND AND THIS SOFTWARE ANTIVIRUS IS SAYING THEY WILL REFUND MY MONEY IF THEY CANT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM I TOLD THE THEY CANT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM BECAUSE I AM NOT DOWNLOADING THERE SOFT WARE ON TO MY COMPUTER AGAIN I HAD TO HAVE IT COMPLETELY CLEANED OUT BECAUSEOF THIS SOFTWARE ANTIVIRUS THE PEOPLE THAT REPAIRED MY COMPUTER SAID THERE WAS NOT AN VIRUS ON MY COMPUTER IT WAS THE SOFTWARE NOT ALLOWING ME TO GET ON TO MY COMPUTER WEVRYTIME I TRIED TO LOG ON TO MY COMPUTER THIS SOFTWARE WOULD POP UP AND TELL ME I HAD A VIRUS I TRIED TO REMOVE THE SOFTWARE BY SHUTTING DOWN AND RESTARTING AND I UNINSTALLED THE SOFTWARE FROM MY COMPUTER AND IT STILL SHUT DOWN MY COMPUTER THERE WAS NOWAY TO GET THIS SOFT WARE FROM POPING UP SO I THOUGHT WELL I HAS A 30 DAY MONEY BACK GAR SO I WILL JUST PURCHASE IT AND THEN GET MY MONEY BACK AND THATS WHAT I DID THEN MY COMPUTER SUT COMPLETELY DOWN AND WOULD NOT LET ME DO ANYTHING SO I HAD TO GET IT REPAIRED AND THE SOFTWARE TAKEN OFF AND NOW I KEEP ASKING FOR A REFUND AND THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THE CAN RESOLVE THE PROBLEM I DIDNT WANT OR NEED THE SOFTWARE TO BEGIN WITH BUT I COULDNT STOP IT FROM POPING UP SO I DIDNT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK ON THE SOFTWARE AND THEY WILL NOT GIVE IT BACK

Please repost your question using actual sentences, correct punctuation / capitalization, and most importantly, cogent thoughts.

If you don't know that all caps is considered shouting then I highly doubt you have the technical acumen to property operate an anti-virus program.

Respectfully, I don't agree. It seems to me that the makers of the virus software have been scammed into thinking they sold their product to a halfway intelligent computer user. At the very least the OP should have rebooted his system in Safe Mode and run a virus scan from there.

Zigner is correct, the OP was scammed. This is malicious software that "imitates" a virus. Then it conveniently pops up a dialogue for purchasing the companies software, which will remove what they placed on there in the first place.

Definitely, OP, dispute the charge. I hope you win.

Oh, please. I've been cleaning this kind of malware off computers for years. :rolleyes:
