well my baby momma is having my first child and she says she wants to raise the child by herself and wants to move to indiana with her family and leave me out the picture. she also thinks i wont be a good father. my question is what can i do from letting that happen becuase i want to be apart of my childs life. theres not alot of guys who would say that. so im confused why she wouldnt want me to be there. so what would i be able to do to make sure she doesnt take my unborn son away from me?

How far along is she? Right now you have no rights to that child. Once the child is born you can file for paternity to be established after that custody/visitation.
At this point mom can move away.

but she hasn't moved yet, so shouldn't he file now in Florida?

and then have to file again in IN is she moves?

He could register with Florida's putative registry.

There is NOTHING he could "file" since the lady in question is still pregnant.

i meant register... thanks..

but do you have to register again in another state if the pregnant mother moves?

It's much better for you if she waits until after the baby is born to move.

Is there any chance she would let you visit the baby while they are in the hospital and sign the Birth Cert?
If she in fact waits to move, be prepared to file paternity/custody/visitation stuff as soon as baby is born.
