I am a colorado resident who has filed for divorce from my spouse who resides in california and whom both of us has been seperated for seven yrs. no childen and property to be shared.
i have served her and have gotten copies of the divorce to her and have gotten the signature card received for a decree or affidivadant for divorce without apperance.
My question and advice is the courts here in colorado have asked me to file an amended petition since i didn't check the box for my recidency.
i need to know do i just redo the petition and send back to courts or do i need to do the whole new petition with a new summons and a new time to wait for a finalized divorce.

thank you gaz
