What is the name of your state?Location Lubbock,TEXAS - We have fallen behind in our mortgage payments by 5 months at this time. I have been told that my account is in a Foreclosure status with no sale date as of yet. Is there anything that I can do or services that I can look into? Mrtg. co. has already stated that they need the full amount (5 mon.) plus atty. fees - close to $4500 and we just don't have that amount of money all at once. Husband was let go from last job at the end of Nov. - not enough work and has been unsuccessful in obtaining another due to him being in a deployable status in the Army Nat'l. Guard. Businesses, I guess, do not want to hire and then have employee leave shortly after(?) Four kids at home and am really struggling. Any advice or suggestions as where to even start in trying to find a solution?

**A: it is against the law for an employer to deny employment due to a candidate being inthe service. Of course, you need to prove that was the reason for the non-hire.

**A: have you thought about selling the property?

your legal rights

Georgia...

No wonder this is called freeadvise. What they don't want you to know is the
advise that you are needing. I am also in default with mortgage lender. I lost my job in March 04 and have only recently regained employment @ 30% of what I used to make. I payed more mortgage interest in 2004 than I had income and completely depleted savings and retirement money only to be facing foreclosure anyway. I wish I had known my legal rights before I wasted all my reserve money. These members obviously are not in the least bit concerned about our situations they just like arguing back and forth trying to outwit the other members. Don't waste your time here. The only advise you have received so far is..... "Have you considered selling?" I suppose he thinks you and your children should just live in the street with all the other unsuppecting former home owners that fell pray to these legal eagle types that think they are smarter than us. I really question his motives for that worthless advise. Maybe he is fishing for a cheap preforclosure investment to add to his financial portfolio. I retract that last remark, I won't stoop to that level.

Please check out www.stop4closr.com and get the real truth about forclosure and how you can save your home by requiring your lender to abide by the provisions for resolve set forth by Fannie Mae and HUD . You have rights that you need to know about. Your situation sounds like they drafted these provisions and regulation just for circumstances like yours. There are even special provisions for military personal looking at deployment You should have no problem saving your home and your self respect because you will eventully resume your mortgage payments when you are able too and pay your mortgage just like you intended to in the first place. I am going to submit my plan for relief to my lender as soon as I get it drafted. MAKE sure you don't offer a plan that you cannot stick with. You can do it I have confidence in you. Only you can save your home, anyone that offers to assist you is only out to take advantage of your situation. Don't trust anyone. You are in control. Someone once said "Your best defense is a good offense." The ball is in your court, serve them an ace. Good luck to both of us. www.stop4closr.com
